Sedgwick County Zoo
Naturalistic habitats showcase more than 3,000 animals and 400 species in visitor-friendly exhibits from Africa, Australia, South America, Asia, and North America. Among other interesting scenes are the elephants frolicking in the world's largest elephant pool. The free tram tour is an efficient way to move around the zoo. Monday-Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sunday 12-5 p.m. Admission charge.
