As part of a town revitalization project, two large murals were designed by talented twins Grant and Gavin Snider and were painted by a group of dedicated volunteers. Grant's brightly colored design at 1st and Main features popular local icons including the little red caboose, the grain elevator, and the Santa Fe depot. Equally striking is Gavin's Welcome to Mulvane mural at 2nd and Main, which reflects the town's railroad heritage. Grant and Gavin are 2004 graduates of Mulvane High School.
