606 W. Main. The college, established in 1858, is the oldest institution of higher education in Kansas. The red-brick Irvin Hall (NRHP) is the first college building constructed in Kansas and is named for Samuel Irvin, a Presbyterian missionary who established the Iowa and Sac & Fox Mission in this area in 1827.
