Cherryvale Depot

Cherryvale, KS

Cherryvale Depot

Now used for the offices of Watco, a short-line railroad company, this red-brick, turn-of-the-century structure was built in 1910 for the Santa Fe railway. Rare are the arched, covered drive-through entrance portico and waiting platform, a design seen on no other depot on the Santa Fe's southern Kansas lines.
